Artist Bob Wade designed these 40-foot tall boots in 1979 on a vacant lot 3 blocks from the White House. After spending 6 months in D.C., the boots were moved to their North Star Mall in San Antonio. In 2016, the Guinness Book of World Records recognized them as the largest boots in the world.
