Grab a pint in one of the oldest churches in Baltimore at the Ministry of Brewing.
St. Michael’s Church was abandoned in 2011 until the owners of the brewery bought and restored this beautiful building. They worked hard to preserve as much of the church as possible, working with specialists to restore the columns and murals on the ceiling. They used reclaimed wood to make tables and refurbished the eight remaining pews. This part of Baltimore’s history can live on because of the work they did.
